Many new bikes are now equiped with riding modes, and Superbikes are no exception. But what difference do they make in the real world? What difference do they make (if any) when you are tapping into the upper reaches of a bikes performace envolope at the race track? I invite you to watch the video below to find out.
In the video, I compare the two upper modes on my 2023 Kawaskai ZX-10R at Sydney Motorsport Park (Eastern Creek Raceway) in Sydney. In the Kawasaki’s case, ‘A’ and ‘B’ mode are termed ‘Full’ and ‘Medium’ power mode. The only modification to my bike is a slip-on exhasut can with no tuning changes. Are you surprised by the result, or is it what you expected?
